Ministry Goal:
Provide all members of the special needs community, regardless of their abilities, the opportunity to play baseball in a safe and enjoyable environment and to promote community support and sponsorship of the Miracle League of Southlake
Miracle Baseball provides special needs players of all abilities the opportunity to play baseball in a safe, fun environment by pairing each player with a field buddy. This allows the players to shine on the field while giving their parents a well-deserved opportunity to relax and watch from the stands.
We need 10–15 volunteers each week during September and October. Please share this opportunity with your group as soon as possible and let me know your group's level of interest.
Key Details for Your Group:
Flexibility: The entire group doesn't need to serve together. You can serve as a full group, a small subset, or as individual members. Multiple groups can serve on the same week, and anyone is welcome to volunteer for more than one game.
Family-Friendly: Children under 14 are welcome to volunteer alongside a parent as an assistant buddy.
Next Steps: Ask your group members about their interest and check which Saturday on the schedule they are available.
All are welcome to particpate whether you are part of a community group or not.
