Rooted Update | Remodel
I wanted to take a moment to share a brief update as we step into the remodel phase of our Rooted campaign.
This is an exciting season for our church, and at the same time, we know it will require some flexibility from all of us. We want to remind you that this is just for a short season, and we’re grateful in advance for your grace and patience as we walk through it together.
Beginning the week of April 6, portions of our downstairs space will be closed as construction begins. (You can reference the floor plan below to see which areas will be unavailable.)
As a result, here’s what Sunday mornings will look like for this season:
Kids Check-In
Check-in will be mobile and set up outside under the portico (weather permitting)
For safety, a portion of the parking lot will be coned off during this time
Check-in will open 30 minutes before service
Classrooms will open at their normal time, 15 minutes before service
Classroom Availability
We will have one available classroom downstairs
This room will serve children 9–23 months old
Due to space limitations and volunteer ratios, we will only be able to care for children 9 months and older during this season
We’ve reserved the downstairs room for this age group because children who are not yet steady on their feet cannot safely use the stairs
Preschool & Elementary
All other preschool classrooms will be moved upstairs
This will create limited space in certain elementary environments
For this season, we will not have a dedicated 4th–5th grade classroom
We’ll continue to evaluate this plan in the weeks ahead and will communicate any updates as things develop.
